We fell in love on one cross-country blind date road trip. After the pandemic we were both yearning to find someone brave enough to leave the city and the rat race behind. Someone willing to try living outside the box, learning to live with harmony in nature and live sustainably. He wanted to build a campground. I wanted to create a yoga retreat center. He was looking for someone who had tools and knowledge to help his body heal from rheumatoid arthritis and sports injuries. I was a yoga teacher looking for someone who was handy with a hammer and being outdoors to help build my dream! He was following me on Instagram and enthusiastically liking my posts for two years before I finally gave him a chance. I am so grateful I did! We went on our fateful road trip in May of 2021. By August we bought land, and December a house, in Arden, West Virginia. Heaven! Not almost, it IS heaven!

We both take great pleasure in being hosts and tour guides to this beautiful natural wonder. We aim to leave the land healthier than we found it and invite others who also love Mother Earth to come bask in the good energy and create more through their joy and happiness in being here.
